“Save the Angels” Auction & Reception: December 5

A fundraiser to restore the historic
“Monterey Christmas Angels”

Saturday, December 5, 2015
Reception: 6–9 p.m.; Auction: 7:30 p.m.
Museum of Monterey, 5 Custom House Plaza
Free admission

Wind, water and sun have battered the Angels that grace downtown Monterey each holiday season and we need your help to restore them. To raise funds for the restoration, Old Monterey Foundation and The Colton Hall Museum and Cultural Arts Commission have joined forces to host a “Save the Angels” Auction. Inspired by the historic Angels, 20 renowned local artists have created new Angels, each six-feet tall, in their own distinct styles that will be auctioned to benefit the restoration.

To see all 20 angels, search for “Sneak a Peek” on this website. Or see them on display at the Museum of Monterey starting December 2.
